Batang Yagit in PBA ‘08

Filed under: Uncategorized — Winston @ 4:10 am

I still can’t find the words to write. It’s almost eight hours now when I came to this quasi utopia state. The sensations I felt hours ago are still fresh. I want to muster the right words to say (or write) but I can’t. All I can think of right at the moment is THANK YOU.

Going back twenty hours before the event, Jehz and I were at home, browsing the internet and checking the progress of the votes for Batang Yagit from technorati. Even at the very last day of the voting period, several people were still able to cast their precious votes. Most of whom are coming from the Visayas and the Mindanao region.

Batang Yagit para sa PBA Bloggers’ Choice Award

Filed under: Uncategorized — Winston @ 11:36 am

Yayks. For the Win ang yagit.

Goodyear Autocare in Mandaue

Filed under: Uncategorized — Winston @ 5:16 pm

A week before I left for Manila for the WordCamp Philippines 2008 event, I received a call from Ms. Karla Tecson inviting me (and my blogging friends) to attend the launch of Goodyear’s Autocare center in Maguikay, Mandaue City.  Because the event fell on a Thursday (August 28, 2008), only three of us (bloggers) responded to the invitation.  Present were McBilly, X and me.

Goodyear Autocare, EBR-SN Tire Plaza Hi-Performance Center (a subsidiary company of EBR Marketing Corporation) is the most recent Autocare center in Cebu and one of the few Goodyear Autocare High-Performance Centers in the country.  The Autocare is Goodyear’s way of expanding the line of automotive services being offered by the Goodyear Servitek centers.

Also launched during the event is Goodyear’s partnership with Shell Lubricants and Bosh.   Shell’s representative, Ms. Emi Nazara, assured Goodyear that they will continue providing support in any way they can.

Goodyear also invited motorists from Cebu to participate in its Bayani ng Kalsada Program.   According to Goodyear, a lot of Filipino motorists who have done noble acts on the road were not given recognition.  The Program was launched to locate, honor and publicize those drivers who clearly qualify for the rare label of “bayani”.
